Qi2 Elements was founded to meet an unmet market demand of above ground storage tank operators to achieve improved inspection accuracy, uniformity, and report speed. These aims are being achieved through driven investment into R&D to develop, commercialize and generationally improve the first-in-industry API inspection process software, and a family of advanced tank inspection tools and ROVs that improve both out-of-service and in-service tank inspections. In 2021, operations expanded into In Line Inspection (ILI) pipeline inspection, through merger with Q-Inline (a Quanta Services company), where new technologies that will change inspection for small diameter gas and liquid pipelines are being added. Now structured as Storage Tank Resources Group, and Pipeline Resources Group, with the core value proposition of “Superior Inspection Intelligence”, Qi2 Elements is positioned for industry leadership in technology-enhanced inspection and integrity management.

Qi2 Systems was formed to give a singular focus to NDE products. Its charter is to refine technologies and expand sales opportunities of Qi2’s LOTIS® (Laser Optical Triangular Inspection System) brand systems which are existing and emerging standards of inspection method in automotive hose QC, Progressive Cavity Pump stators, and threaded OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods).
